He is a video on how to get to your FTP page. We used jing as our main creator for this video but this program doesn't just stop there, it also can take still pictures of your computer screen and you can break down what they are seeing from there. If you want to see my video

Today in class we learned how to use audacity. We took our power point presentations that we recorded in calss and also added intro music to it. After that we changed a couple things and made it sound the way we wanted it to by using the cutting tool and amplifying tool. The link to my Wav file is click here.

Prezi

Today in class we started out learning about how to take our presentation and voice recording off the jump drive. Then after that we where shown a new way to make up a prsentation with out using microsoft power point or movie maker. It is call Prezi and it is a new and easy way to make presentations. Delicious

We created a account on deliciou .com to store all our web site book marks. You can store all your web sites you want to come back to or use later there and it is free and easy to do. Also we worked more with power point and animation and how to make our slides better.

Presentation

Are last assignment was to make a 20 slide presentation and have it run by it's self for about 15 seconds a slide. Now our new assignment is to put that presentation online. I watched my presentation over and saw that my timming was off a little and that I need more texted on some slides. But all in all it was a very well explained topic.

Graph

We created this in class. It is a very easy tool to use and can come in great use when you are trying to show a comparision. Click here and it will take you to kids zone and that is what I used. My graph is showing how West Virginia kids in 4th grade compare to the national average.

The items that I consider usefull

The first thing is the snipping tool. It is cool because I can get any graphic I want for a slide show or presentation. The second is the google web site. I can creat my own web page and let people see it. Those two together are very usefull.

Snipping Tool

We used a new tool today called snipping tool and we took and made a picture of our computer screen. I is really a great tool because it turns your pictures into jpeg files which are compatable with almost anything. I found this picture on Fairmont State home page and took a picture of it. to find it go to your computer and type in snipping tool and it will show up.

I Created this image in word with the drawing tools. It was very simple, the only problem is that you can't save it as a jpeg so I had to copy and past it in paint and save it there to load it to my blog. This tool will be very helpful when teaching because I will be able to make my own work sheets..

Web Page 2

Today we learned how to add pages like a calender and resume. Here is a link to my calender and here is a link to my web page. This will be a very help full tool when I become a teacher and want to get infomation out to parents and keep them informed about what is going on in school or just let them know how well there child is doing in class. It will be a great way to get everyone on the same page meaning students, parents,and staff.

Web Quest

We started looking in to web quest. It is very interesting site where you can put homework online for them to do. The web adress is click here. You can go on there and look up your subject matter nad see what others have created and you can use there ideas. But also the main point is that you can creat your own web quest and use it to. There are a lot of things you can do with this program.

Teachertube

WE finished our video from last class and found a great place to put it on. Also this website lets us view it and use it later in our classes. The web address is http://www.teachertube.com/. You have to set up a account but that is free. Then go to videos and push upload and follow the on screen instuctions.

Photo Story 3

I found picture on the internet and compiled them together to start making a slid show. The program I used was Photostory3 and it is free online and can be used anytime. Here is the link for that click here. Then after that I save in my FTP file onine.

Web Publishing
